Message from the Chairman

It’s an exciting time to be a member of the North Little Rock Chamber of Commerce! 

Our Chamber is an energetic, active organization which provides numerous ways to meet and develop relationships with our almost 1,600 member businesses.  From the FYI business luncheons on the first Friday of each month to the quarterly Business After Hours events, our networking events can’t be beat for attendance and quality.  Timely speakers and forums add value by providing information on topics of importance to our local businesses ranging from Health Care Reform to the pending replacement of the Broadway Bridge.  As a new member, you will be pleasantly surprised by the enthusiasm and level of involvement of our members.  As a long-time member, you can’t imagine a better investment of your time.

Our member businesses recognize the importance of involvement and investment in all aspects of our community and the Chamber supports these priorities by providing opportunities for our members to engage with the military, educational, and non-profit organizations in our area as well as our city, county, and state government officials.  The partnerships and strong relationships our Chamber has with these various community stakeholders truly allow us to transcend “business as usual” and fuel the economic development of our area.  The Chamber is also playing a prominent role in returning the state high school basketball championship tournament to Central Arkansas.

The Chamber continues to thrive and grow due to the passionate involvement of our members.  I encourage you to maximize your investment in the Chamber by joining one of our committees or attending any of our signature events like the Oaklawn Kick-off Banquet, Annual Banquet, Golf Tournament, Family Fun Fest, Taste of the Town, Night at the Rep, or the Downtown Tip-off Club.

It is my pleasure to serve as the Chairman of our Chamber for 2013 and I appreciate the service and support of the Board of Directors and staff.  It’s going to be a great year!
