Message from the Chairman

The Difference is “YOU.”

Our North Little Rock Chamber of Commerce has continued to grow, be successful, remain financially sound and be a positive economic force in our community.  Why?  Because of you!  Our membership is the driving force behind the ongoing success of our Chamber. 

Our Chamber takes GREAT pride in providing value to our members and our community.  Our members not only work hard, but also have a lot of fun.  Members have the opportunity to serve on several Chamber Committees, which include the Camp Robinson/Camp Pike Community Council, the Downtown Tip-Off Club, the Education Committee, Family Fun Fest, Golf Tournament Committee, Leadership Renaissance, LEADS Group, Member Services, Military Relations, NEXT Generation Young Professionals, Taste of the Town, and the Vanguard Committee.

To those of you who have served before, or are serving now, I say “Thank You!”  For those who have not yet experienced the committee advantage, I suggest you consider serving.  Getting involved in a committee activity is fun, fulfilling, and a great way to get to know others in business and the community.

We are becoming known across the state as the “can do” Chamber.  Terry Hartwick and the Chamber staff along with all of our committed members have accomplished some amazing goals and projects over the past years and we have more planned for this year and the future.  

The partnerships our Chamber has with our local businesses, local government, local schools, local organizations, and our community, is something all our chamber members can be proud of.  We get things done. The difference is truly “You,” our members.  

I greatly appreciate the opportunity you have given me to represent you and our chamber.  It is a pleasure to work with you, the Board and the Chamber Staff.  I look forward to your thoughts, ideas, and serving as the 2012 North Little Rock Chamber of Commerce Chairman.
