The Attractions

Explore North Little Rock’s natural beauty by walking or biking along the Arkansas River Trail, a 17-mile loop that runs along both sides of the Arkansas River and includes the Big Dam Bridge, Clinton Presidential Park Bridge, Junction Bridge and Two Rivers Bridge. The bridges can be enjoyed at night since Entergy Arkansas spearheaded a Bridge Lighting Project to mark their Centennial Anniversary in Arkansas. The Main Street, Junction, and Clinton Presidential Park Bridges were illuminated in December 2013. View the beautiful banks of the Arkansas River while on a dinner cruise on the Mark Twain and immerse yourself in history at the U.S.S. Razorback submarine.

Indulge your inner movie buff with a stop at the Old Mill, which appeared in the opening scenes of Gone with the Wind. Delight in the city’s man-made attractions by hopping on the River Rail Trolley and tour through historic downtown North Little Rock and the River Market District on the South side of the river. While you’re there, don’t miss the Clinton Presidential Center, Heifer International and the Arkansas State Capitol. Make sure to leave plenty of time for a hot dog at Dickey-Stephens Park and cheer on the Arkansas Travelers. During those hot summer days cool off at Wild River Country Amusement Park and now enjoy the park on those cold wintry days at the all new Wild Winter Country.
