    The Entertainment

There’s a reason North Little Rock is known as the Sports and Entertainment Capital of Arkansas: it is home to several professional sports teams and continues to draw national sporting tournaments; enjoys an energetic downtown nightlife; and hosts several outdoor festivals each year. Dickey-Stephens Park, home of the Arkansas Traveler’s baseball team, is the newest jewel in North Little Rock’s sporting crown. Just down the street, the concert schedule at Verizon Arena regularly includes big names such as the Rolling Stones, Miley Cyrus, Taylor Swift, Keith Urban and so many
more. You can find music on a smaller scale at festivals like Blues on the River, Argenta Fall Foodie Festival, Riverfest and more. For a lively Saturday night, head to Main Street, where you can grab a bite to eat and enjoy live music at Cornerstone Pub and Grill, Cregeen’s Irish Pub and Ump’s Bar and Grill.  Verizon Arena often showcases children’s entertainment such as Playhouse Disney Live!, American Idol Live Tour, Harlem Globetrotters and Holiday On Ice along with other special events like rodeos and Monster Jam.
