The Parks

At 1,700 acres, Burns Park is one of the largest municipal parks in the country, and is filled with a variety of activities, including amusement park rides, a dog park, picnic areas and equestrian trail. The 6.2 miles of paved and unpaved hiking and biking trails are an entrance to the Big Dam Bridge. There are baseball and softball fields, a state-of-the-art soccer complex with 17 soccer fields, 18-hole Championship and Tournament Golf Courses, disc golf courses, a 27 court tennis complex with 6 indoor courts and so much more.

North Little Rock is home to 19 other city parks, each with its own personality. Scenic Emerald Park sits atop what was once known as “Big Rock.” Hike to the top and enjoy a beautiful view of the Arkansas River.

The Old Mill Park is perfect for a picnic and a new family photo. You can fish at Cooks Landing, play tennis at Idlewild Park, and enjoy the view of the Little Rock skyline from Riverfront Park.
