    The Parks

At 1,575 acres, Burns Park is one of the largest municipal parks in the country, and is filled with a variety of activities, including amusement park rides, picnic areas, equestrian and hiking trails, baseball fields, a state-of-the-art soccer complex, two 18-hole golf courses, an indoor and outdoor tennis complex and so much more. It’s an entrance to the Big Dam Bridge. North Little Rock is home to 19 other city parks, each with its own personality. Scenic Emerald Park sits atop what was once known as “Big Rock;” hike to the top and enjoy a beautiful view of the Arkansas River. The Old Mill Park is perfect for a picnic and a new family photo. You can fish at Cooks Landing, play tennis at Idlewild Park, and enjoy the view of the Little Rock skyline from Riverfront Park.
