The Schools

The North Little Rock School District’s 19 schools welcome approximately 9,000 students from preschool through 12th grade each year. They’re taught by approximately 700 teachers, with help from more than 180 businesses participating in the Partners in Education, Vital Link, Leadership Renaissance, Keystone, East Initiative, Arkansas Scholars and Junior Achievement programs. Several private schools also call the community home, including Full Counsel Preparatory Academy, North Little Rock Montessori School, Central Arkansas Christian Schools (CAC), Immaculate Conception Catholic School (IC), Mount St. Mary Academy, Catholic High School for Boys and many others.

Pulaski Technical College Pulaski Technical College is the state’s largest comprehensive two-year college that serves the educational needs of central Arkansas through more than 88 occupational/technical degree and certificate programs. The college continues to grow with a new 52,000-square foot Culinary Art and Hospitality Management Institute.
